The clergy and the staff here at Queen of Peace Parish are very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is always difficult. Here at the parish we will do everything in our power to walk with you and help you and your family during this arduous and painful time. We are here for you.
As Catholics, we do not grieve like the rest of the world, we are people of hope. We are trusting in the promises of Jesus. The Lord reminds us that we are made to be with Him in Eternal Life. The Resurrection is the focus of every Catholic Liturgy.
A Catholic Funeral Mass is one of the ways we grieve with Hope. During the Catholic Funeral Mass our intentions are two-fold. We pray for our loved one to be at peace with our Eternal Father; We also pray for ourselves to have an increase in faith and hope in the promise that we will see our loved ones again in heaven.
