PREP CALENDAR ~ September

PREP Registration 2018-2019

PREP tuition for this coming school year remains the same: $160 for one child / $260 for 2 children / $370 for 3 children. There is a registration fee of $25 due at the time of registration that is applied toward the cost of tuition.

NEW PREP Registrations

Students new to the program in Levels 1-6, must provide a copy of their Baptismal certificate unless they were baptized at Queen of Peace or St. John of the Cross. In addition, if your child is coming from another PREP, please provide a copy of their last Progress/Report Card. Parents of new students are asked to contact the Religious Education Office for an appointment to register children for next year's PREP.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

C.L.W. is held every Sunday during the Liturgy of the Word at the 11:00 Mass during the school year. We are currently seeking volunteers to join our current catechists in forming additional teams to rotate instruction each Sunday. Safe Environment Information

All Queen of Peace PREP catechists, assistants and volunteers (over the age of 18) must meet all requirements mandated by the Archdiocese in order to volunteer in the PREP. Please register online at www.virtus.org. For more information, go to www.archphila.org, scroll down, and click on Safe Environment Program. If you do not have internet access, call 215-886-3014.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

The RCIA is the sacramental process by which a person seeks full initiation into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Catholic, please contact Anne Florian at the PREP Office at 215-886-3014.
